Motions proposed by the committee;- • That version 2 of the ‘West Kent IVC Constitution’ and version 2 of the ‘West Kent IVC Club Rules and standards’ are adopted with immediate effect. The following is a summary of the changes. The details of these will be available at the meeting. • Change to the constitution so that ordinary committee members can only be elected when all other constitutional committee positions have been filled. • Change to the club rules regarding requirements for organising events as a condition of membership - No requirement to organise three events in the first year of membership. - Each member must organise at least three events per year of which at least two events must be ‘Super’ events. The third event maybe an ‘ordinary’ event. ‘Super’ events require advanced prep/planning/payment, ‘Ordinary’ events do not. - After the first year, members not organising three events per year will pay membership fee + £15 (unless mitigating circumstances). • Remove duplication between constitution and club rules. • Remove references in constitution to joint membership, as this class of membership doesn’t exist.
